Modix BIG-60 v4 3D printer is our flagship 3D printer model. Introduced back in 2017 and now in its fourth iteration. Modix BIG-60 presents a competitive mixture of large build volume, premium components and a competitive price. As before, the improvements made in V4 are shared with all other models. New versions are designed with backward compatibility in mind, therefore owners of previous versions enjoy periodical performance improvements and long term high return on their investment.

Modix BIG-60

Base model with a single print head. Starting of Version 4, it comes with Duet and Duex expansion as default.

Enclosure Add-on

The enclosure helps to improve the printer stability providing higher quality print results. It is also captures the bed heater generated heat and helps to reduce wrapping and cracks due to uneven part cooling.

The large spool shelf shown in the image is a separate add-on.

Griffin High-Flow

Print large objects faster with the Modix Griffin High-Flow hotend.

Griffin High Resolution Hotend

The high-resolution hotend add-on enables you to print with a layer height as fine as 50 microns, ensuring precise retraction and tight tolerances for high-accuracy printing of tiny objects.
This package includes a heat block, Heatbreak, PT1000, 40W heater, silicon sock, and a 0.4 mm nozzle.

Griffin Hardened Steel Nozzles Pack

The Griffin Hardened Steel Nozzles pack includes three nozzles (0.4/0.6/0.8mm) designed for printing abrasive materials such as carbon fiber-filled, glass fiber-filled, wood, and glitter without degradation. These nozzles are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 450°C

Magnetic Bed

Enjoy easy part removal and easier bed maintenance.
One side is coated with PEI powder, providing rough bottom texture and the other side is applied with a PEI sheet for a glossy bottom surface.

Extra PEI Sheet

Spare PEI sheet at size of 660x660mm
Covering the entire bed plate. Not required if you purchase the magnetic bed.

Casters

8KG Spool Shelf

The default spool mounting can carry up to 3KG spools only.
This spools shelf add-on can carry up to 8kg. Spool rolls rest on bearing rollers helping the extruders to easily pull.

Z Axis Hiwin Rails
